After making some changes to the route and format for TPA23, we’re planning to keep most things the same for next year. This means that the new Welsh section is staying, as well as a manned halfway checkpoint. We haven’t yet confirmed if this will be the same off-grid cottage that we used last year, but it’s fairly likely to be at this point.
The one change we have made is to shorten the cut-off to eight days, rather than nine. This is still a relatively achievable cut-off for most people and all finishers would have made it this year. It simply means one less possible day on the road for the team, which is definitely welcome!
