Triple crowns seem to be all the rage at the moment, so we thought we’d unashamedly jump on the bandwagon. However, the idea of a TPA Triple Crown is something that riders have whispered about for a while now: who will be the first person to complete all three events?
This year it is looking increasingly likely that someone will at least attempt it. Patrick Cope – having finished first at TPA23 – is signed up for both WWC25 and MOTM25, making his intentions fairly clear.
But he is far from the only rider who could complete all three events. In fact, there are four riders who have all finished both WWC and TPA. They are Molly Weaver, Joe Tresadern, Will Ward and Ben Chuilon. This means they could all get there first if they finished ahead of Patrick at MOTM25. But none of them are currently signed up…
Interestingly though, none of these riders are the ones who could theoretically get there fastest. Both Rhys Clarke and Richard Hibbert completed MOTM23 and both are signed up for WWC25. If they finish WWC25 and then choose to tackle TPA25, they could actually get there first. But that is a big if with neither signed up currently.
Whatever happens, it will be exciting to see who gets there first. Completing one of our events is an achievement in itself, so we look forward to celebrating the remarkable rider who first manages all three!
